Competitions
To build on our first Dunedin Line Dance Gala, 2026 will include competitions.
The Friday and Saturday Socials will have time between sets for Club challenges for everyone attending to enjoy.
To showcase recent dances create by established and new choreographers. Those with a Gold Pass will be eligible to register or watch. This will be a great look at the fantastic new dances our talented gala attendees are creating.
Choreography Competition
Gold Pass Members Only
3 Sections: Beginner, Improver, Intermediate
Entry: Limited to one per Section with a Max of Five dancers per Demo
To Dance Four Walls

Registration and Participation:
All Dancers to be Registered and Names provided
Dancers belonging to more than one Club, can participate in a max of two individual Club Challenges.
Dress Code – Club Shirts and Black Trousers.
Music Track to be submitted to DLDG in Advance.
Each music track can only be used once during the competition. The first to submit a music track will get sole use of it.
Time Limit per performance 4 minutes
